埔贝村是广东省惠州市博罗县石坝镇下辖的行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明代后期，广东长乐（今五华县）人迁来，先在一户付姓人家屋后落脚，称“付屋背”；客家话里“付”与“埔”音近，传成“埔背”，后写作埔贝。[1]
清代属苏州巡检司，民国属七区乙乡；1959年为石坝人民公社的埔贝国营林场，1961年改埔贝大队，1983年称埔贝乡，1986年为埔贝管理区，1999年起称埔贝村民委员会。2019年9月，村被列入广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
