历史沿革[edit]
清顺治年间，十一世祖日高公从五华县长乐迁来；村子四面环山，坐落在丫髻山下，故名山下。[1]
民国编入一区石坝乙乡；1952年划归一区石坝乡，1973年成立山下大队，1986年称山下管理区，1990年起称山下村民委员会。[1]
