吉石村是广东省惠州市博罗县石坝镇下辖的行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村建于清康熙十一年（1672年），由紫金和韶关南雄的人迁来。传说江边有一块大石头，起名“石陂头”，嫌拗口，取吉祥之意改为吉石。[1]
民国属河源县观音阁镇；建国后设博罗县石坝乡公所，1958年称杨村公社，1978年称蓝田乡，2002年起称石坝镇吉石村民委员会。2019年9月，村被列入广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
