历史沿革[edit]

土地改革完成后（1952年）光辉归平潭乡；1955年合作化，乌塘、叶乌埔、姚屋墩等几个小组并成一个高级社，1958年改大队；1984年又与平潭、新墟两个大队并入平潭乡；1987年单设管理区，1999年成为村民委员会。[1]

地名由来[edit]

合作化时按当时取名用红色字眼的做法定名，取“光辉”象征日子越过越好。[1]
