平潭村属惠阳区平潭镇，因靠近镇政府驻地而得名，2020年入选首批省级“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村（柑橘）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
平潭大队在1965年至1971年期间包括川龙在内；1972年改设平潭乡，1987年乡撤销后设管理区，1999年定为村民委员会。[1]
地名由来[edit]
旧时以平潭镇为中心，村子紧靠镇政府驻地，因此得名。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，平潭村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之中；在2020年8月广东省农业农村厅公布的首批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」中，平潭村以柑橘上榜。[1]
