江南村属惠阳区平潭镇，因位于西枝江一条支流的南面而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
江南于1958年立大队；1984年跟凌屋排大队合组为凌屋排乡；1987年乡撤销，另设江南管理区；1999年成为村民委员会。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子在西枝江支流以南，且田园景色好，故称江南。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，江南村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之中。[1]
