鹤湖村属惠阳区平潭镇，相传清代黄氏自福建漳州府迁来，因村旁湖边常有鹤群栖息而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
鹤湖在1958年立生产大队，1963年接收了江南大队；1984年并进新圩大队，组成新圩乡；乡撤销（1987年）后设鹤湖管理区，1999年定为村民委员会。[1]
地名由来与姓氏[edit]
清朝年间，黄姓人家从福建漳州府迁来定居，村旁有湖，常见鹤群停歇，因名鹤湖。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，鹤湖村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
