川龙村属惠阳区平潭镇，地势四面临水，因出口处一座形如龙的小山头而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
川龙在1958年并入平潭生产队，合为平潭大队，1972年随之属平潭乡；1987年单设管理区，1999年成立村民委员会。[1]
地名由来[edit]
该地四周有水环绕，仅在独石一侧有出口，那里有一个形状像龙的小山头，因而称川龙。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，川龙村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之中。[1]
