土湖村位于淡水西部，与深圳市坑梓一带接壤，设10个村民小组，2020至2022年入选淘宝村名单。[1][2]

名称与沿革[edit]

相传古时这里湖泊多、鱼虾多、土地肥沃，古人认为土里能生金，湖水能养万物，因此取名土湖。1953年上土湖与新寮合为寮湖乡，1958年又叫寮湖大队，1979年从中分出土湖大队，1989年改为管理区，1999年成为村民委员会。[1]

区域与人口[edit]

村东邻东华村，南接大亚湾西区，西与深圳市坑梓镇交界，北与秋长街道的西湖村相邻，面积约4平方公里。该页写到，辖区总人口约1.5万人，其中原籍居民2300人。区内有惠阳区人民检察院、土湖派出所、惠阳中山中学、土湖小学等单位。[2]

荣誉[edit]

土湖村在2020年、2021年、2022年均列入淘宝村名单；2021年12月获授「2021年广东省卫生村」称号，2019年9月被列为「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
