前进村在广东省肇庆市四会市东城街道境内。1998年依据广东省理顺农村基层管理体制的通知，撤销前进管理区，设立前进村民委员会。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

前进的前身是1954年的上林乡，1985年改前进乡，1987年成管理区（大沙区），1998年设村民委员会（大沙镇），当年即转隶新江镇；2003年新江镇并入东城街道。[1]

经济[edit]

博雅地名网所载村情：村在四会市东面，面积约4平方千米，下设9个村民小组，344户1378人，党员50人；广贺高速、江肇高速和四会工业大道经过村内。以养殖业和种植业为主，生态林1680亩，2008年村集体经济收入70.4万元。村内有历史悠久的三清庙。[1]
