响水村位于悦城镇东部，国道321线穿村而过，南面是西江，面积约10.8平方千米，分3个村民小组，人口1696多，离悦城圩镇约12千米。村前有条小河流入西江，水冲击陂头时有声响，村因此叫响水。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949至1958年属新平乡的响水村；1958年并乡，归悦城人民公社；1986年乡政府改称村民委员会，1991年改为管理区办事处，1998年名为响水村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

山上种沙糖桔，山下种水稻、甘蔗、蔬菜，也有鱼塘。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村之一（2026年1月）。[1]
