江边村位于悦城镇西部，临321国道，南面是西江，面积约18.12平方千米，分6个村民小组，人口2500多，离悦城圩镇约3.5千米、县城约35千米。村委会驻在江边村，村名由此而来，1998年经德庆县人民政府批准设立。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初期归罗洪大区管辖，随后依次叫江边乡、江边大队、江边管理区，1998年之后为村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村委会在丘陵岗地上，村民种沙糖桔。[1]
荣誉[edit]
在2019年9月公布的名单里，被列为广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」2018年创建单位之一。[1]
