历史沿革[edit]

村于1998年经德庆县人民政府批准设立，取辖区内最大的自然村中垌村之名。解放前属中垌乡公所，1958年公社化，属新圩镇中垌乡，1985年设中垌管理区，1998年改为中垌村委会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

下辖17个村民小组，有农户406户、总人口1896人（未注年份）。[1]

经济[edit]

耕地面积1365亩，距县城区约6公里，农民种植柑橘增加收入。[1]2019年9月，村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
