新中村是广东省茂名市信宜市平塘镇下辖的行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前，此地属林垌乡十堡，下分牛辣、中垌、佛祖三处；土地改革后三处并为一乡，乡政府设于中垌，故名新中乡。之后改为生产大队，又经乡、管理区等阶段，1999年起称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，该村获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
