小竹村是甘洒镇东部山区的行政村，离镇政府约12公里，辖7个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网称，村里自古产一种名叫「小竹」的竹子，村名由此而来。[1]建制依次是：1958年设小竹大队，1983年11月改乡，1987年称村委会，1989年4月称管理区，1998年成立村民委员会。[1]

地理环境与经济[edit]

全村面积约13.61平方公里，总人口1249人（未注明年份），甘洒至广宁的县道贯穿境内。[1]山上种林木、竹笋、茶叶和砂仁，山上山下还种食用冬菇、木耳；地下有磷矿资源，镇里的自来水工程也建在村内。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，在2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位之列。[1]
  • 小竹村以茶叶入选广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]
