历史沿革[edit]
怀集县人民政府以怀发〔1998〕20号文，在1998年11月批准成立下屈村村民委员会，驻地在下屈村，名称由此而来。[1]此前的建制依次是：1964年设下屈大队，1983年11月改乡，1987年称村委会，1989年4月称管理区。[1]
地理环境[edit]
全村面积约6.82平方公里，北面与坳仔镇接壤，离镇政府约7公里；博雅地名网记总人口1817人（未注明年份），村道已铺成水泥路面。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种植厘竹和蒿竹，并规划利用水力资源兴建一座装机1000千瓦的水电站。[1]
