历史沿革[edit]
村名合取石树村与杨梅洞两处旧名的首字，定于设生产大队之时。[1]建制依次是：1958年设石梅大队，1983年11月改乡，1987年称村委会，1989年4月称管理区，1998年成立村民委员会。[1]
地理环境与经济[edit]
全村面积约9.29平方公里，总人口3871人（未注明年份）；甘洒至广宁的县道经过，是去钱村、罗密、小竹、南洞等村的必经之路。[1]村里租进山地8000亩，其中2000亩用于速生丰产林；另有2个灵芝培植场，镇内较大的一家养猪场也设在这里。[1]
荣誉[edit]
石梅村以钩藤入选广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]
