小竹村是广东省南雄市江头镇所辖的行政村，村内有广东省文物保护单位小竹塔。相传村里种的毛竹过了很多年仍旧细小，村名由此而来。[1][2]据博雅地名网所录村情，全村设8个村民小组，人口1084人（年份未注明），主要产业为竹木。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
小竹的归属变动较多：建国初期属南雄县第五区，1962年设小竹大队时隶属主田公社，1970年改属水口公社，1977年又转到江头公社。1998年撤区建村，成立小竹村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
小竹塔建于宋代，平面呈六角形，原是五层的楼阁式砖塔，如今只剩三层，高约9米；据百度百科，南雄现存七座宋塔，它是其中之一；1997年先被列为市级文保单位，2012年做过修缮，2015年12月升格为省级文保单位。[3]
荣誉[edit]
小竹村曾在2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
