庙咀村是怀集县怀城街道下辖的行政村，位于街道北部，距县城10多公里，是街道里偏远的山区村，辖11个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

名称与建制先后为庙咀高级社（1955年）、庙咀大队（1958年）、庙咀乡（1983年11月）、庙咀村委会（1987年）、庙咀管理区（1989年4月）、庙咀村民委员会（1998年）。[2]

经济[edit]

村情材料称有355户、1768人，耕地1284亩，山地10950亩；村民从事运输业和建筑业，水稻种植900多亩。据2009年统计，全村社会总收入2629.7万元，人均收入5675元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，庙咀村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
