文化原与河南、永安、永光合编为城关大队（1970年），1971年分出自成文化大队；后来改乡（1983年）、改管理区（1984年），到1996年设社区居民委员会。[1]
地名由来[edit]
旧时当地有一条文化街，社区以此得名。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
社区材料称有242户、1169人，耕地460亩，居民多经商、开店和跑运输；据2009年统计，社会总产值2220.4万元，人均收入6288元。[1]
