历史沿革[edit]

上郭先是1958年的生产大队，1983年改为乡，次年又改称管理区；1998年起设居委会，1999年定名上郭社区居民委员会。[1]

地名由来[edit]

因这里与下郭相对，历来称作上郭，故以为名。[1]

经济[edit]

社区材料称辖8个居民小组、577户、2287人，居民以商业、餐饮服务、旅店、修理和运输建筑等第三产业为主；据2009年统计，社会总产值4325.75万元，居民人均收入5709元。[1]
