护国社区是广东省肇庆市广宁县南街街道下辖的社区。[1]社区位于县城中心，辖区约1.2平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清道光年间这里称护国坊、护国寨，属寺前铺，社区名即由此而来。[1]1956年先是乡级镇护国村，1958年建为人民公社下的护国营，此后在管理区、大队、村民委员会之间几经更名；2004年改为护国社区居民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

村情介绍称，社区居民合计约11600人，含农民2200人，划分为20个居民小组、13个村民小组；辖区内有3所幼儿园、2所小学，文化路上有一处小型农贸市场。[1]2025年5月，社区入选「2025—2026年全国示范性老年友好型社区」创建名单。[1]
