历史沿革[edit]
清道光年间称林洞；民国时期分林洞上、林洞下、桃源三乡。[1]1954年改作林洞农业社，1958年改作林洞大队，1983年改作林洞乡，1987年改作林洞村委会，1998年起为林洞村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村情介绍称，全村分为21个村民小组，居民合计2057人，是南街最偏远的村委会，地处丘陵；村里办有酒厂和一座年出栏上千头的猪场，山上种沙糖桔和青竹，水田种水稻、花生、蔬菜和玉米。[1]2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
