历史沿革[edit]
村名定于2004年：梅龙村委会与扶赖村委会合并，因辖区在宝锭山西南麓、绥江东岸，竹、木、水资源多，定名「丰源」。[1]此前它叫梅龙：1956年建农业合作社，1958年成大队，1983年立乡，1984年曾并入扶赖，1987年再分开，1998年为梅龙村委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村情介绍称，全村分为16个村民小组，居民合计2292人，耕地偏少，村集体年收入3万元左右；在广东科贸职业学院帮扶下新办150亩白花茶种植基地，已垦种60亩。[1]2019年12月，丰源村列入国家林业和草原局公布的第二批国家森林乡村名单。[1]
