铁岗社区在金渡镇，位于双金公路北侧，毗邻水边和黄坑，离金渡圩镇4公里，管理铁岗村、沙田村2个自然村[1]。
概况[edit]
村两委干部4人，总人口1000多人，全村面积1.5平方公里，村集体经济收入1.1万元；村民种植蔬菜和桃花[1]。2018年它列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」，2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
1949年以前属高要三区金北乡，1949年以后属七区铁岗乡；1958年编入金龙公社，称铁岗大队，次年改隶金渡公社；1983年同耕沙、黄坑并成三同乡，次年拆回三个乡；1987年乡改为村委会，1989年改为管理区，1998年管理区又改回村委会，2014年起设社区居民委员会[1][2]。
