五股社区在金渡镇，位于旧双金公路旁，与圩镇相距2公里，共分14个村民小组，属镇乡结合区[1]。
概况[edit]
社区约有3600多人、1100多户，耕地128亩，村两委干部7人；它是金渡镇工业发展较好的村，收入以商铺出租为主[1]。2018年它列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」，2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
建国前属高要三区；建国后属七区金北乡；1958年编入金龙公社，称五股大队，次年改隶金渡公社；1983年大队并入乡，1987年乡改为村委会，1989年改称五股管理区，1998年管理区又改回村委会，2013年起改设社区居委会[1][2]。
