黄坑社区在金渡镇，靠双金公路，与镇中心相距7公里，面积4平方公里上下，共分12个村民小组[1]。

总人口2400多人，以种植蔬菜和鱼塘发包为主[1]。2018年它列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」，蔬菜在2020年8月被列入首批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
建国前属高要三区安怀乡，建国后属七区安东乡，至1953年更名黄坑乡；1958年编入金龙公社，称黄坑大队，次年改隶金渡公社；1983年同耕沙、铁岗并成三同乡，次年拆回三个乡；1987年乡改为村委会，1989年改为管理区，2013年起改设黄坑社区居民委员会[1][2]。
