腰岗社区在金渡镇，位于双金公路旁，面积约6平方公里，与镇中心相距8公里，共分27个村民小组[1]。
概况[edit]
有7563人、1923户，劳动力4528人，大多外出工作；耕地3300亩，含水田1490亩、鱼塘1000亩、菜地810亩，收入以鱼塘发包为主[1]。2018年它列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」，番石榴在2021年9月被列入第二批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
建国前属高要三区安怀乡，建国后属七区腰岗乡；1958年编入金龙公社，称腰岗大队，次年改隶金渡公社；1983年大队改为乡，1987年乡改为村委会，1989年改为腰岗管理区，1998年管理区又改回村委会，2013年起设居委会[1][2]。
