耕沙社区在金渡镇，位于双金公路旁，与镇中心相距约7公里，面积1.5平方公里左右，共分6个村民小组[1]。

总人口1800多人，以种植蔬菜和鱼塘发包为主[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
建国前属高要三区安怀乡，建国后属七区腰岗乡；1958年编入金龙公社，称耕沙大队，次年改隶金渡公社；1983年同莫坑、铁岗并成三同乡，次年三同乡拆为耕沙、黄坑、铁岗三个乡；1987年耕沙乡改为村委会，1989年改为管理区，2013年起设居委会[1][2]。
