1962年组建生产队，1983年建乡，1987年改称村民委员会，1989年改设管理区办事处，1999年起复称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

地名由来[edit]

此处地势较别处高，又在河流上游，故称上峰。[2]

上峰村年平均气温21.1摄氏度，年降雨量约1477至1985毫米，属南亚热带季风气候。[1]

经济[edit]

村里种植的主要经济作物是大唐梨、柑橘；特色收入来源有萤石矿、杉木。据同一网站所载，上一年全村农村经济总收入2357万元。[1]
