合水镇是广东省茂名市信宜市东部的一个镇，下辖合水社区和16个行政村。镇名得自境内几条河流的汇合，国道359线经过镇境。据博雅地名网，全镇面积约141.2平方千米，2020年第七次全国人口普查人口为2.89万人；镇内有广东省文物保护单位谢氏抗战纪念楼，以及石硖梯田。^[1]^[2]

据博雅地名网所引的地名志文字，合水在1958年设公社，1983年改为区，1986年建镇。^[1]镇中心的合水社区设立于1995年。^[3]

同名的合水镇在全国有好几处，博雅地名网该镇页面的“历史沿革”一栏混入了阳江市阳春市合水镇的内容（清代属阳春县等），本条目未采用。^[1]

地理环境[edit]

镇位于信宜市境东部，据博雅地名网所引志书，距市区69公里，距罗定机场67公里；信罗公路自东向西贯穿全镇。^[1]镇名的由来，博雅地名网的说法是镇地处漠阳江上游与西山河汇合处。^[1]镇下的合水社区则另有说法：境内的横水河、直水河汇入白龙河，因而得名。^[3]

据博雅地名网所引志书，合水镇是粤西木材、水稻主产区之一，乡镇企业以竹木加工、运输、建筑、建材、水电以及金矿、瓷土开采为主；农业则种植水稻、水果、南药、蔬菜并有养殖业，出产反季节蔬菜、乌榄、肉桂和三华李。^[1]合水镇在2022年10月被省农业农村厅认定为「2022年广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业镇」，产业是油茶。^[1]

此外，该镇于2022年1月获「2021年度广东省卫生城镇」称号，2026年3月又入选「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」。^[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

谢氏抗战纪念楼位于排东村委会石龙村，始建于1941年，1945年冬落成，砖木结构，前后两进，总面积661.5平方米。前楼外立面是西式风格，中间开三个拱门；后楼三层，顶层中厅墙上有壁画，并陈列民国时期党政军官员题词的赠匾。该楼先被茂名市公布为第七批市级文物保护单位（2020年），后在2022年7月进入第十批省级文物保护单位名单。^[4]^[5]维基百科另载其公布时间为2000年6月18日，级别为市、县级，与上述说法有出入。^[6]

石硖梯田在合水镇与钱排镇交界处的大水岭上，山岭高1045米，梯田总计350多亩。博雅地名网称石硖村一带的田块有四万多块，有的一亩多达八十多块。^[7]
