庙湾村是广东省茂名市信宜市合水镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的南部，辖27个村民小组。据博雅地名网所载村情，全村在册293户、1637人，总面积5.0平方千米，耕地648亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期为白龙上乡第八村；随后人民公社时期曾与横水、高荷合并为十三营；之后1960年土改后分设横水、庙湾、高荷三个生产大队；再后来1983年建乡，1987年起设村民委员会，1989年一度称管理区办事处，1999年又恢复村民委员会之名并沿用。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，村名的由来是：明朝时此地建有一座庙，庙前河中有大湾潭。[1]
经济[edit]
种有600亩柑桔，据该页称每年可增收720多万元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年1月被广东省乡村振兴局确定为“「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」”创建单位；2019年12月入选国家林业和草原局公布的「第二批国家森林乡村」名单。[1]
