高荷村是广东省茂名市信宜市合水镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东南部，辖32个村民小组。据博雅地名网所载村情，全村在册377户、2113人，总面积7.3平方千米，耕地641亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年后初期属横水第九村；随后1951年转为高荷村农会；之后1953年设高荷乡人民政府；再后来1958年人民公社化后分为高荷、竹黄岭两个生产大队，1963年合并为高荷生产大队；接着1983年建乡，1987年起设村民委员会，1989年一度称管理区办事处，1999年又恢复村民委员会之名并沿用。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，村名的由来是：旧称过河洞，因从清静村到此要过一条河，新中国成立后谐音雅化为高荷垌。[1]
经济[edit]
主要经济作物有柑桔。发展200亩柑桔基地，据该页称使村里增收180万元。[1]
