东田村是广东省茂名市信宜市合水镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西部，辖37个村民小组。据博雅地名网所载村情，全村在册718户、3016人，总面积11.33平方千米，耕地1581亩。[1]

1949年后初期分为东坑村和高田垌村；随后1958年合并为东田生产大队；之后1983年建乡，1987年起设村民委员会，1989年一度称管理区办事处，1999年又恢复村民委员会之名并沿用。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，村名的由来是：原有东坑村和高田垌村两个大村，各取一字。[1]
经济[edit]
主要经济作物有粉蕉。村集体管理石鼓山、大水岭两座电站，另出售毛竹、松、杉等用材。[1]
