铜鼓村是广东省茂名市信宜市池洞镇下辖的行政村，在镇域北部，下分45个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年设铜鼓大队，1983年建乡，1987年起设村民委员会，1989年又叫管理区办事处，1999年定名铜鼓村民委员会，一直用到现在。[1]

地名由来[edit]

约三百多年前，当地为建冼太庙挖地基，挖出一面铜鼓，村名由此而来。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网（未注明年份）载：全村在册885户、3885人，总面积3.8平方千米，耕地1050亩；年平均气温16.5℃至22.8℃，年降雨量约1477至1941毫米，属南亚热带季风气候。主要作物为水稻和香蕉，特色收入是养殖，上一年村农村经济总收入1250万元。[1]
