历史沿革[edit]
1953年设西村大队，1983年建乡，1987年起设村民委员会，1989年又叫管理区办事处，1999年定名西村村民委员会，一直用到现在。[1]
地名由来[edit]
怀德县城于公元598年建在池洞的车国村，此村在县城以西，因此叫西村。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
