平埇村是广东省茂名市信宜市水口镇辖下的行政村，名称取自管区办事处的驻地[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来：管区办事处设在平埇村，办事处因此取名平埇[1]。

建置沿革：新中国成立前属八村农会，其后1952年属高岭大队，随后1958年从高岭分出燕山大队，再后1967年改称红卫大队，接着1983年起改设乡一级政权，又其后几经改称，其后1999年起定名平埇村民委员会[1]。

荣誉：2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
