简坡村是广东省茂名市信宜市水口镇辖下的行政村。据博雅地名网所载村情资料（未注明年份），全村设28个村民小组，在册595户、2892人，总面积5.95平方千米，耕地975亩[1]。

村名的由来：村里有一处形状像狗的山坡，远望很相似，原叫狗坡，后改为简坡[1]。
建置沿革：解放初期有垌四农会等组织，其后1963年合并为简坡大队，随后1983年起改设乡一级政权，再后其后几经改称，接着1999年起定名简坡村民委员会[1]。
荣誉：2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
经济[edit]
村里的主要经济作物是香蕉、红烟等，特色收入有香蕉和龙眼[1]。据村情资料，上一年全村经济总收入约500万元，除香蕉、龙眼、荔枝外，还向山地发展速生桉，在耕地上冬种红烟、马铃薯、甜玉米等[1]。
