大甲村是广东省茂名市信宜市水口镇辖下的行政村。据博雅地名网所载村情资料（未注明年份），全村设17个村民小组，在册500户、2400人，总面积3.8平方千米，耕地600亩[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
村名的由来：原管区的农事处设在大甲田自然村，村名由此而来[1]。
建置沿革：位于水口镇东部山区。民国后期与贺家合并，其后为龙山水乡第九村，随后1952年从龙乡分出贺家乡，再后1961年属双山公社，接着贺家与大甲从此分开，又称大甲大队，其后1983年起改设乡一级政权，随后其后几经改称，再后1999年起定名大甲村民委员会[1]。
经济[edit]
村里的主要经济作物是水稻、蔬菜、荔枝和龙眼，特色收入来自养猪[1]。据村情资料，上一年全村经济总收入约200万元，村里继续开垦荒地，养猪业也在增加[1]。
