因该地四面环山，云雾常积聚不散，故名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

沉埇在1958年建大队，1983年改设乡政府，1999年起称沉埇村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
