六旺村隶属信宜市镇隆镇，为镇上的行政村之一。位于镇隆镇西部，辖22个村民小组，在册525户、2500人，耕地1200亩，种香蕉和青菜，劳务输出是村里的一项收入来源。[1]

村民希望日后生活美满、兴旺发达，取六旺这个吉利的名字。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
六旺在1958年建生产大队，1983年改设乡人民政府，1999年起称六旺村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，六旺村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
