北畔村隶属信宜市镇隆镇，为镇上的行政村之一。位于信宜市最南端，与高州市谭头一带交界，辖14个村民小组，在册486户、1926人，总面积约5平方千米，耕地580亩，种水稻、玉米，并种植深薯。[1]
地名由来[edit]
因村在东江河北面的河畔，故名北畔。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
北畔1958年建生产大队，1983年设乡人民政府，1999年起称北畔村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，北畔村获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
