六岸村隶属信宜市镇隆镇，为镇上的行政村之一。位于镇隆镇东北面的西江河畔，辖14个村民小组，在册685户，总面积约12.5平方千米，耕地1235亩，种水稻、玉米、香蕉。[1]
地名由来[edit]
因村在西江河的北岸，故称六岸。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
这里在民国时归陈东乡十五堡，新中国成立初期归八坊第十五村；1958年与大水坡合编为一个大队，1961年才自立六岸大队，1999年起称六岸村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
