大水坡村隶属信宜市镇隆镇，为镇上的行政村之一。位于镇隆镇北部，辖19个村民小组，在册542户，总面积约4平方千米，耕地986亩，种水稻、番薯和杂粮，木器加工、养鱼、种深薯是村里的特色收入。[1]
地名由来[edit]
此地地势低洼，又在西江河南岸，过去常被洪水淹没，故名大水坡。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时归八方乡十三、十四堡；新中国成立初期设农会；1958年改建大水坡生产大队；1999年起称大水坡村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年9月，大水坡村以优质稻入选「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」；2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
