历史沿革[edit]
土改时期办起农业合作社；1958年归杨梅公社，叫米西大队；1983年称米西乡；1987年建立村民委员会，1989年改称管理区办事处。[1]
经济[edit]
主要经济作物是花生，养鱼是特色收入；村情页给出的上一年农村经济总收入是4030万元。村里近年抓的事有水泥路硬化、农作物管理和水利建设。[1]
