木平村隶属广东省茂名市化州市杨梅镇，与下郭街道相邻。据博雅地名网的村情介绍，全村在册688户、3229人（该页未注明年份），总面积3.4平方千米，耕地约1195亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年前后为木坪乡；土改时期办起初级农业合作社；1958年归杨梅公社，叫木平大队；1983年称木平乡；1987年建立村民委员会，1989年改称管理区办事处。[1]
经济[edit]
主要经济作物是花生，副业有养鱼；低洼田改成鱼塘，并修了从杨梅通往木平的水泥路。村情页给出的上一年农村经济总收入是2890万元。[1]
2019年9月，木平村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
