乐岭村隶属广东省茂名市化州市杨梅镇，地处杨梅镇区东北角，邻古岭村和下郭街道。据博雅地名网的村情介绍，全村在册591户、2807人（该页未注明年份），总面积3.5平方千米，耕地约826.8亩。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年前后为乐岭乡，土改时期办起初级农业合作社；1958年公社化时划归杨梅公社，叫乐岭大队；1983年称乐岭乡；1987年建立村民委员会，1989年改称管理区办事处。^[1]

主要经济作物是雪豆和花生；村情页给出的上一年农村经济总收入是2400万元。村集体企业乐岭玻璃厂设在这里。^[1]

2019年9月，乐岭村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。^[1]

乐岭村辖内的芬坡村有永安堡和芬坡书院两处清代古建筑，均为「化州市第四批县级文物保护单位」。^[2]

明代的陈王圭（1508年—1571年，一作陈珪）是乐岭村人，官至浙江左布政使，隆庆五年（1571年）去世。^[3]^[4]
