泊头村隶属广东省茂名市化州市杨梅镇，地处杨梅镇区东面，临鉴江，邻官地村和竹根园村。据博雅地名网的村情介绍，全村在册1115户、5525人（该页未注明年份），总面积4.2平方千米，耕地约2144亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期属南安乡，1949年后属杨梅乡；土改时期办起农业合作社；1958年归杨梅公社，叫泊头大队；1983年称泊头乡；1987年建立村民委员会，1989年改称管理区办事处。[1]
经济[edit]
主要经济作物有花生、雪豆和辣椒；村情页给出的上一年农村经济总收入是4338万元。村里近年修了杨梅通往泊头村委会的水泥路，集资建设泊头小学，并抓水利建设。[1]
2019年9月，泊头村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；同年10月入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录。[1]
