坡咀村隶属广东省茂名市化州市杨梅镇，地处杨梅镇区西面，邻杨梅村。据博雅地名网的村情介绍，全村在册777户、3767人（该页未注明年份），总面积3平方千米，耕地约1522亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年前后属杨梅乡，土改时期办起初级农业合作社；1958年归杨梅公社，叫坡咀大队；1983年称坡咀乡；1987年建立村民委员会，1989年改称管理区办事处。[1]
经济[edit]
主要经济作物是花生，副业以养鱼、养猪为主，低洼田改成鱼塘，塘边养猪，猪粪肥塘。村情页给出的上一年农村经济总收入是3225万元。[1]
2023年4月，坡咀村在「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单中；2024年4月，入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
