牛江镇是广东省江门市恩平市下辖的镇，位于恩平市东北部，西北与开平市相接，东邻沙湖镇，南面是君堂镇和圣堂镇，西面是良西镇，辖区面积127平方千米。[1] 镇人民政府驻宝华街35号，下辖1个社区、12个行政村。[1] 这里是飞机设计师、飞行家冯如的家乡，也是中共恩平县委旧址所在地；镇的主要产业是水稻、马铃薯种植和水产养殖，另有一处工业园区。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代，这里隶属朗锦乡的仕洞都一图。1957年首设牛江乡，次年乡建制撤销，辖地先后并入江洲、沙湖两个公社。1979年恢复为牛江人民公社，1983年8月改称牛江区，到1987年3月才改为现在的牛江镇。[3]

镇名来自圩镇。据地名资料，旧时有牛冈河流经此地，河两岸的小山冈是各地买卖耕牛的集散处，因此叫“牛冈”；“冈”和“江”在当地口语中读音相同，后来写成了牛江。[3]

地理环境[edit]

牛江镇位于恩平市东北面，气候属亚热带季风气候。[1] 全镇土地约19万亩，镇政府统计的农用地为17.4万亩：耕地2.1万亩、鱼塘4000亩、林地13.7万亩。另有约1000亩划作工业用地，大部分在宝昌工业园区。林地上的森林有7428.35公顷，覆盖率为六成多（60.22%）。[2] 西坑水库在镇内，蓄水量7215万立方米，列恩平市水库的第二位。[2]

镇内设有高速公路出入口，中开高速、高恩高速和沈海高速在此交汇，据镇政府介绍，从这里到广州、佛山、深圳机场约需1.5小时车程。[2]

人口[edit]

据百度百科，2020年末全镇常住人口为18759人。[1] 镇政府2026年4月的介绍里另有一组数字：户籍约2.4万人，常住约1.2万人；旅居港澳和海外的乡亲超过4万人；83条自然村分属各村委会。[2] 牛江镇是恩平的侨乡之一。[2]

经济[edit]

2025年，牛江镇地区生产总值9.89亿元，比上年增长3.0%；一般公共预算收入为771万元，规模以上工业产值约4.4亿元，增幅32%。[2]

农业方面，镇里按“稻稻薯”的轮作模式每年种植富硒水稻约3.6万亩，产量约1.8万吨；马铃薯种植面积1万多亩，年产量约2.5万吨。[2] 2016年7月，农业部公布的第六批「全国一村一品示范村镇」名单中有牛江镇，产品是马铃薯。[3] 2019年9月，中国农业技术推广协会的富硒农业技术专业委员会授予牛江「富硒小镇」称号。[4] 当地特产牛江濑粉，2015年入选广东省名特优新农产品。[4] 水产方面，广东众海水产有限公司从事罗氏沼虾育苗，年产虾苗约12亿尾。[2]

工业以现代农业与食品、纺织、造纸、制革等行业为主，全镇有12家工业企业，其中规模以上企业7家，多数集中在宝昌工业园区。[2]

农田里有1.78万亩已经整治为高标准农田，农机作业的覆盖率超过九成。2024年，村集体经营性收入平均每村30万元，农村居民人均可支配收入2.6万元。[2] 镇里还建了濑粉特色产业园，作为预制菜产业基地的一部分。[2]

社会事务[edit]

镇政府介绍，全镇已建成无害化农村公共厕所97座，农村无害化户厕普及率98.47%，建有污水处理设施73座。[2] 近年来，海外华侨和乡贤为村庄建设捐资600多万元，镇里建起综合养老服务中心并开设长者饭堂。[2] 昌梅村于2023年1月被司法部、民政部命名为第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区）。[3]

文化[edit]

牛江镇是冯如的故里。镇内的参观点有冯如故居、冯如文史馆、炯成楼、郑锦波故居和恩平拉美华侨华人展览馆。[2] 镇政府说，近年每年有近20万人来游览。[2] 昌梅村创建了国家3A级旅游景区。[2] 据维基百科，牛江镇还是「中国华侨国际文化交流基地」第七批名单中的一处。[5]

在广东「百千万工程」中，昌梅村于2023年11月入选首批典型县镇村；牛江镇本身属于第三批典型镇培育对象，2026年3月获认定，黄泥坦村则是同批培育的典型村。[2][3] 镇还在2019年被评为广东省森林小镇，2022年1月被命名为省卫生城镇。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

  • 中共恩平县委旧址：在东边朗村。1938年11月，冯燊代表中共西南特委在此开会，传达上级指示，并成立恩平县工作委员会。该址1984年7月列入恩平县第二批文物保护单位。[3]
  • 冯如故居：位于昌梅村委会辖下的杏圃村，清代建的砖砌平房，建筑面积52平方米。[3]
  • 炯成楼：位于仕洞村，建于1934年，又名子昌楼、红楼，由旅居马来亚的华侨冯相所建。[3]

著名人物[edit]

冯如（1883—1912），牛江人，飞机设计师和飞行家，镇政府称他为「中国航空之父」。[2] 他的故居今在昌梅村。
